Obituary of Marlene Connor

Surrounded by her family, Marlene Gertrude Connor passed away peacefully on Thursday August 4, 2016 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born April 23, 1944 she was the daughter of the late Reginald James Connor and the late Dorothy Gertrude Jennings. Marlene is survived by her brothers Frank (Dorothy) of Riverview, NB and George; brother-in-law Bill (Avis) Booth; sister-in-law Sandra Connor of Saint John, NB, several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and many cousins, as well as a special nephew Tom Booth and his wife Carolyn. Marlene is also survived by her extended family at the United Catena Training Center Inc. and Caring Manor. Marlene was predeceased by her parents, sister Anne “Nan” Booth, Brother Thomas “Tom” and sister-in-law, Karyn Connor. Arrangements are under the care of Castle Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Ave, Saint John (634-1701). Visitation will be held on Tuesday August 9, 2016 from 2:00 – 5:00 pm and 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm. A Funeral Service will take place on Wednesday August 10, 2016 at 11:00 am from Castle Funeral Home Chapel. A reception will be follow the Funeral Service at Castle “Fallsview” Reception Centre. Interment will follow the Reception at Greenwood Cemetery. Donations in Marlene’s memory can be made to The Canadian Cancer Society, United Catena Training Center Inc. or a charity of the donor’s choice.
